In this episode I talk to Tee Pimentel of Creatures Who Craft. Tee is a self-proclaimed "baby witch" and doesn't have a lot of witchy stories to tell just yet- but she plans on returning to let everyone know how her first sabbats turn out! Find out how she got interested in making fairy wings, about her first forays into witchcraft, and what she plans to do next.

Welcome back to the Who Witch Where podcast, the podcast about witches, witch life, witch stories, and once in a while, some witchcraft. My guest today is Tee Pimentel of Creatures Who Craft. Tee is new to the witchy life, and she in fact comes out as a witch on this show. Tee lives in New England and works as a model, runs her business making fairy wings, and is in the planning stages of starting a family with her husband. So let's get started.
Kim: Okay, today I am talking to Tee. She is the owner and creator from Creatures Who Craft. She makes fairy wings and other fantastic costume items. I don't really know what to call it. She's gonna introduce herself and her business here in a second. So welcome, Tee, thanks for talking to me. Thanks for being on the podcast.
Tee: Thanks for having me. I'm so excited to be a part of this.
Kim: First, let's go over your socials, and then I would like you to introduce us to you and your business
Tee: Okay, so my name is Tee and on Instagram I am @teepimentel. I am over on Facebook too, but my Facebook page is just Creatures Who Craft, so if you wanted to head over I'm over there as well. I Am Tee. I am a wife, model, I own a small business, and I also work full-time corporate. So yeah, that's a little bit about me. I make fairy wings mainly, and I kind of just dabble in whatever costume really pops in my mind, and I try to make it.
Kim: I noticed one of the things you're doing now is mermaid... mermaid things.
Tee: Yes.
Kim: Mermaid bottoms?
Tee: Yeah, I will, that's just part of, I wanted to make a costume for the mermaid inspired wings that I'll be launching towards the end of July. So I wanted like a whole costume to go with the wings, but I won't... I'm not taking on mermaid tails. That's a whole... venture I'm not really interested in, but I respect the craft. It's a lot.
Kim: It looks like a lot. When I was looking at the thing you made, I was like, "Holy crap, that's like your entire garage."
Tee: Yeah, it's a lot, but I, um, yeah. Props to people that are into that because that is a lot of work.
Kim: Who would you say your shop is for?
Tee: I would say my shop is for anyone who's looking for fairy wings. Whether you're into cosplay, whether you're into drag, whether that is for a Sweet 16, you want a bridal party to have fairy wings, anything creative that you're looking into that's related to fairy wings, it would be for you. It's also great if you're some kind of costumer that travels, because the wings could be totally disassembled, put in a nice little storage box, you can take them on an airplane, take them to go. So that's who they would be for, anybody and everybody.
Kim: The fact that they break down is one of the things that makes yours different from the others, right?
Tee: I agree. I haven't seen very many people... I've seen a lot of wings that can be posed, but I haven't seen a lot of fairy wings that can be totally disassembled and put away. Because a lot of people right now, they're embracing tiny home living, van life, all that. So the fact that they can be stored in a place and just shoved under your bed in a nice convenient place, I really like the fact that they can do that.
Kim: What made you start making wings?
Tee: What made me start making wings was me and Joy from The Witching Hour Photography, we were asked to do a set of photos for Enchanted Living. And it was going to be fairy themed, and Joy was taking on the enormous task of making a lot of props and stuff. And she had asked myself and another model if we could help out and make the wings. And that's kind of where it started. People started seeing the photos and kept asking me if I sold the wings. And at the time, I didn't. And then I just asked myself, wait a minute, why not?
Kim: I think that's right when I found you on Instagram.
Tee: Yeah, I was just like, yeah, I'm like, well, why not? Because at the time I was just modeling on Instagram and and then people just kept asking and I'm like, well, why not? Why not give it a shot? And here I am.
Kim: When I approached you to be on the podcast. I invited you before I even realized that you haven't actually come out as a witch, to my knowledge.
Tee: No, I think I had one post about Jamie Della's book. Oh, I'm forgetting the name of it. But um, I think I posted that, you know, I was really excited about that journey, but I left it very vague because I wasn't afraid of the criticism, but I was more so like sometimes when you just claim that you're something people want to bombard you with information. And I was just like, I'm like, I'm ready to take this on, but I want to do it at my pace and I want to do it kind of on my own, because I'm not, I wasn't ready for like people bombarding me with information that, that of course, online people are trying to be helpful, but sometimes when you're starting something new, it can feel like, it can feel a little bit insulting coming at you with unsolicited "helpful" information.
Kim: What made you decide to explore it
Tee: I've always kind of had this... I don't know what to call it. Just like this feeling within myself. Kind of like when you do something as... maybe it may be insignificant for some people, but something as little as like doing a mood board and setting up goals. Something in my brain though, whenever I would set those goals, it's as if I would, I knew that this stuff was going to happen for me. It wasn't just a silly goal that I was writing down. It's kind of like I knew, and something... I've just always felt like there was some kind of... something. Like not just something that was just normal, like I'd write down a goal, it was just like a little bit more special than that. And it kind of made me want to look into just being, just diving into my intuition in a way.
Kim: So you were doing intention work before you even knew what intention work was.
Tee: Right, yeah, like exactly, like something about my intuition was just stronger than most, in my opinion. So like I just kind of looked into it a little bit more, and that's where I bought the first book from Jamie and been reading about her spells and things like that.
Kim: Do you have any family history of witchcraft?
Tee: I want to say none that I've dug into, but there have been, like, some things from my childhood that I could remember that was like, that was a little bit weird kind of situation. And I'll share a story that has come up in my mind constantly. Like my dad, where my mom and dad, they're Puerto Rican. And I was born in Massachusetts, in Springfield. And they, my dad, every time I'd walk into like a shower or something, they would, he would have like a candle in a bath and my mom would kind of shoo me away like "No no, don't you know worry about that. Nothing's going on there." and I'm like okay... but so I would constantly like run into these weird little like, I don't want to say, I don't know if there were rituals maybe they were. But I knew that it wasn't an ordinary thing. So that's where I can say the history is, but nothing that I can say that was handed off to me or taught to me. Just little occurrences like that that I would be like that's a little bit more than an ordinary thing.
Kim: But there's no like, grandma doing something in the backyard.
Tee: No, there's nothing that fun. There's some candles and some water but nothing like that.
Kim: Neither of my grandmothers would ever. They would be horrified.
Tee: Yeah, same. My grandmother is very Catholic.
Kim: That's kind of witchy though. Catholicism is witchy as hell.
Tee: Yeah, so who knows, but nothing that I could tell that didn't, no, there was no passing down. That would have been cool. I'm excited to see where your podcast is going, and maybe hear about people that did get some really cool stories like that.
Kim: Well, actually, the last one I did was a story like that.
Tee: Look at that.
Kim: So it sounds like you're not out to everyone. Is this going to be your big coming out?
Tee: Yes! We can title it that! It'll be my big coming out. My second one.
Kim: It is pride month.
Tee. Exactly. Like my second one.
Kim: Oh my gosh, I didn't expect that.
Tee: Yeah!
Kim: So you said you were waiting on doing that because you just don't want people to get all in your business basically? and then push all this stuff on you.
Tee: Yeah. I'm like, I was waiting because yeah, because of that. Like and you know what, I know that a lot of people come from a place of being helpful. But sometimes when you're exploring new things, you kind of want to like, you know. You want to skid your own knees, and make your own mistakes. Like you don't always want people guiding you every step of the way, especially with something like this where it really a lot of people don't realize that spirituality when you go really deep into it, it becomes kind of like a lonely road. And not in a bad way, but it's just different for everyone. It doesn't look the same for anybody.
Kim: Yeah. Well, speaking of, do you identify with any label that witches choose yet? Like, I kind of don't. I call myself a wild witch because I basically kind of do whatever I want.
Tee: I can't say that I do yet, I can't say that I do yet. But I've seen like there's like so many different descriptors and I'm like "Oh man, I don't know which box I fit in yet." I will say, I am like slowly turning vegetarian, so maybe that's, that's a sign of something.
Kim: Have you dabbled yet in anything?
Tee: Like that yeah nothing other than I have like, I forget what that book is called but it's leather and it's got just a bunch of white pages and...
Kim: Like a grimoire or a book of shadows?
Tee: Yeah like some people call it, yeah, some people call it a book of shadows. I have that and sometimes I'll I call her Spirit and I'll write to spirit, and I'm like "Oh thank you for my blessings."
Kim: Oh like a journal. Oh that's nice.
Tee: Yeah like a little journal and I'm like "Thank you for my blessings. Like I really appreciate it, and like this is like my token of gratitude to you." Just writing to spirit here and there.
Tee: Can we dig into your beliefs a little bit? Well my mom was raised, tried, she tried to raise us as Jehovah's Witness but man that just was not it for me.
Kim: Well I actually meant if you believe in deities or not.
Tee: Oh, okay. I think I think that I do, I just think that I haven't found one that resonates with me yet. Or like I haven't, I haven't done the work yet to sit down and be like "This one I totally identify with." So that's why I think in general I just call her Spirit. But her, for some reason she must be feminine to me because I just naturally, when I write, I write to this spirit as if she were feminine.
Kim: What are you doing to learn? Like do you listen to other podcasts, or do you get on in Facebook groups and things?
Tee: I'm a part of a couple Facebook groups, but honestly, they're posting way too many memes for me to keep up. And I am, in a way, I'm pretty new to social media. Like when I just was out of high school, I just closed everything. And I, and then like a couple of years later I get married, and then in about a year or so, Joy reaches out and wants me to model and then I hopped back on, on socials, but really socials is very, very new to me all over again. So I'm kind of rediscovering everything.
Tee: Plus doing it as a business is different from doing it as a person.
Tee: Oh my gosh. It's very different. It's like I have to, as... if I were just a regular person online, I could really just not post anything I wanted, but now it's like, I really have to make sure my, everything I'm posting has an intention. It's not just like I'm flying off the wheel here. So it's very different. It's very calculated in a way.
Kim: Yeah.
Tee: I try to be as much as myself as I can, but even so it's still like a sliver. But yeah, I am a part of a few Facebook groups. But like I said, they just... If I feel like I'm getting bombarded with memes, like, it'll be hard for me. You lost me. You lost me. Like if I didn't see that there was any helpful information, then they lost me. The only good thing I can say about the groups that I'm in is they seem to be supportive. If someone ever posts something and they're in a hard place or something, people seem to be supportive.
Kim: That's good.
Tee: But there isn't anything teachable happening. And I'm... and maybe out of this people can recommend me some great podcasts, or great Facebook groups to join, but the ones I'm in... so far I don't know. Maybe.
Kim: I do have a really good one that I love that I'll recommend to you later.
Tee: Awesome.
Kim: Have you tried any spells yet? Something that you would call a spell?
Tee: I have one that I keep thinking of trying, and it seemed like a silly one but I was like "Maybe this will just make me feel better." But I think it's in Jamie Della's book. And she just takes an egg and throws it in the forest, but you have to yell really loud, and it's kind of just a way to kind of get rid of anxiety or some...
Kim: Yuck stuff?
Tee: Yeah, some yuck stuff! And I was like "Oh, maybe I'll try that, even if it seems silly. Who knows."
Kim: That sounds like a good one!
Tee: I know I'm like yeah. But you have to like put the intention in the egg, yeah, and then throw it away.
Kim: I've done that with a rock.
Tee: Yeah. So that's what I'm, you know, so that's what I'm thinking of doing like tomorrow probably.
Kim: Intention baths are another good one that are like, something simple that you can put into your everyday life.
Tee: Oh, I like that.
Kim: Well I don't take baths, I take showers, but still.
Tee: Yeah, yeah, I take showers as well.
Kim: Is there anything that you're nervous about, or excited?
Tee: I think I'm more excited than nervous. That's what I would say. I'm more excited than nervous because it's a journey.
Kim: Do you plan on doing like the Wheel of the Year holidays? Like are you going to do anything for Litha?
Tee: That's what I'm mostly excited about, these holidays and learning what they mean. Every time I see people posting I'm like, oh I missed another one. I feel like I have some FOMO, yeah. I keep missing out! And they're, I'm like "They're happening so fast!"
Kim: Did you download a tarot app and a moon phase app yet?
Tee: No, but now I will! *laughs* now I will!
Kim: That's how I know that, what, what I need to be doing during the month. Because much the moon phase app will be like "Bing! It's gonna be full moon in two days, you better get your water ready!" or whatever.
Tee: Oh, see, I'm writing it down. No joke. Yeah because I'm like "How are people keeping track of this stuff?!"
Kim: It doesn't stay in my head, the phone tells me. Just like people's birthdays. Facebook tells me.
Tee: It's so funny. Of course there are apps for all this stuff. Of course. But now I'm looking...
Kim: Some of the astrology ones are kind of iffy, but there are a couple that I like.
Tee: Are you into astrology like that?
Kim: I'm like sticking a toe into it.
Tee: I, I'm, I'm not hesitant, but I'm also, I'm just like eh. It's a lot to keep track of.
Kim: I'm trying to learn so many other things.
Tee: Exactly.
Kim: I don't have room for one more giant thing on my plate.
Tee: Yeah, somebody asked me the other day what my sign was and then they were like, "And what's your rising? And what's your..." I'm like, come on girl. I'm like, come on. Don't do that to me. I'm like, I don't know. I'm a cancer. I don't know the rest.
Kim: It is actually really interesting to look up, and my friend Summer, who is @BeautyMarkings on Instagram. She's really good at it. So you should follow her!
Tee: Another one to write down.
Kim: She's also freaking hilarious, but she's really good at it. And like she'll talk about what crazy thing is coming up, or "Be careful because this thing is in..."
Tee: Retrograde?
Kim: Yeah, or...tri... I don't remember the words. Sep... tune?
Tee: I think, I think that sounds right.
Kim: Trine? See it's just words. I don't know what they are. She does. She's great.
Tee: Yeah I'm not into astrology. Yeah baby steps for sure.
Kim: There are so many things to learn.
Tee. Exactly, there are so many ways to dig into it. I know its...
Kim: Have you done tarot, or astro- not astrology. Oracle cards?
Tee: I haven't done Oracle cards. I got a couple sent to me, because I subscribed to like this witchy box called Tamed Wild.
Kim: Yeah, I've heard of that.
Tee: Yeah, they sent like, they sent kind of it kind of... it kind of looked like a Ouija board. It had like the alphabet, and the yes and no, and they sent a couple tarot cards and like, kind of like a little ritual to do with them. But I don't have a...
Kim: That sounds nice.
Tee: Yeah but I don't have a whole deck, and and I never got to doing that cuz like...
Kim: You didn't get a whole deck?!
Tee: No, I think... no, they only sent three.
Kim: What?!
Tee: I feel like they're just trying to lure people in, to check out their site. Which is a really cool site, so I don't blame them.
Kim: There are so many gorgeous tarot decks that once you start, you're just... suddenly you'll have 30.
Tee: And I never know which, like which one is the right one? And why are there so many different ones? Are there just, are they just different because, you know, people want to explore different art, and draw them differently?
Kim: I think that's a big one.
Tee: Yeah so that's what confuses me too. I'm like, I'm like, I just need one. But they do all look really cool, so I want them all.
Kim: Yeah.
Tee: Which one do I need? or what would be the best one for me to get just to learn?
Kim: Well, I will say that some people may tell you, "You're not supposed to buy your first deck because it's supposed to be a gift." I fully do not believe that. I buy myself gifts all the time. And if I see something that I'm really connecting with, I'm going to get it.
Tee: I've heard that.
Kim: They work for me.
Tee: Yeah, I've heard you're not supposed to buy, or even like like if you wanted to get like a starter kit of witchy things, you're not supposed to buy them, you're supposed to feel them out and so on. I don't know.
Kim: I don't really... I don't really believe.
Tee: This is what I mean about me coming out. I'm ready. My inbox is ready. I'm ready for the bombardment of very helpful messages from people, and I, I encourage... I encourage the helpful messages. I do. Just take it easy.
Kim: Who are people who have, give me three people who have influenced your practice so far.
Kim: I Would say Jamie Della for sure. She's just so wise, and she makes it accessible for everyone, and she just puts it in a way that's not intimidating and very palatable to just take down the information, from what I've seen and learned this far. And then Veronica Varlow, I like her a lot. She does it in a very, she's a love witch. So it's kind of very sexual. It's very adulty, but not in a like crude way. And then last one would be MintFaery.
Kim: Yes. I love Mint.
Tee: I love her. Yeah. She's, I don't know what her real name is, but...
Kim: She says it sometimes, but I don't remember what it is. She's Mint.
Tee: Yeah. So to me, she's MintFaery. But something about her is just so motherly.
Kim: Yeah.
Tee: And like, I love the way that she shows her kid and her husband. And me and my husband are family planning. So I just like that. The three people that inspire me are, Yeah, the three people that inspire me are very, they're kind of balanced in a way. Like Jamie is very wise, and then Veronica's very like a sexual being that I would love to be, and then MintFaery's just very motherly. So those three inspire me the most.
Kim: Do you consider yourself to be a part of the witch community yet?
Tee: No, and not in a bad way. No, because I'm just coming out.
Kim: Yeah.
Tee: So... so how would how would they know? But hopefully yeah, hopefully yes, I see that there's there's definitely room. I see the community that is very welcoming, and with that any community at times I do see some gatekeeping here and there.
Kim: Yeah, and that's what I thought you were gonna say when you said don't email me initially.
Tee: No no. I mean it's just, it seems that's kind of the way it is, and in a lot of communities there's like gatekeeping because people just want to make sure that it stays a certain way, maybe. I'm not sure. But I do see that, I do see some gatekeeping tendencies here and there. But I take it, I take everything with a grain of salt. And especially because I'm new to social media. For me it's very easy to walk away from my phone, and sometimes I'm like "Oh yeah, yeah this influencer thing."
Kim: It seems to me like there is a fairy community that is separate from the witch community.
Tee: I would agree with that.
Kim: Okay so there is. Do you think you're gonna help combine them maybe? Are you interested in that?
Tee: I don't know if I'm like totally a part of it myself though.
Kim: The Fae community?
Tee: Yeah like, I feel like I post enough to be a part of it, but like I'm like "Dude are they accepting me? Who's the who's the grand wizard here? I'm not sure." It's just so strange to me. I'm like, "I know people know about me." Do you ever feel like that? Where you're just like, "I know people know about me, but do they know that I know about them?" And are they? I don't know. It's weird. It's me and my conspiracies.
Kim: I don't know. I've been on the internet for freaking ever, I guess.
Tee: For me, in my head, I'm just like, "I know that people know about me, but am I part of their community for real?"
Kim: Yeah, I do feel like that.
Tee: Yeah, like...
Kim: Actually, that, yes.
Tee: Yeah, like I'm just like, "Am I really part of this community? Or are they just randomly liking my posts here and there? Like, how do I engage with these people in this part of this community?" So, I don't know.
Kim: Yeah, so dear internet, please email us and tell us how to engage.
Tee: Yeah, like I'm like, I don't know, it just feels like a weird... kind of like a floating in space kind of feeling with the fairy community, like... people just seem to like come and go, and I like, I'll start to see a lot of the same faces, and then I don't, so I don't know.
Kim: That's also the algorithm.
Tee: Yeah, that- that too.
Kim: Garbage.
Tee: I think it is garbage. I don't understand it. Every time, every week, I think I got it, and then something else. So I- I think that they could be one though. I mean I thought that there was some kind of fairy witchy-ness in it, in my head. Because that's how I combine it, anyways, that's how I try to keep my page. That it's kind of witchy fairy. It's not just like all floaty airy...
Kim: I don't even remember how I found you but it was because I did a witch search.
Tee: Hmmm. Yeah.
Kim: And then suddenly there's fairies.
Tee: Yeah. So that's why I'm like, I try to combine both of them because I don't want people to just be like, Oh, she's just doing fairy stuff all the time. Cause that's not, that's not just me. So I try my best to combine them. I don't know if there are other witchy fairies, but hey, if you're out there...
Kim: Well, MintFaery seems to be.
Tee: Yeah, MintFaery. Yeah. That's why I really like her. Cause I'm like MintFaery.
Kim: Is there anything you love about the witch community, or is anything that makes you angry about it? Have you dug into it enough yet to see?
Tee: I wouldn't say there's anything that makes me angry about it just yet, that I've seen. But I love that they that they are very informational. I'm trying to think. Witch With Me. Great information, great Instagram for information. like there are lots of places that you can find great information, for real. So I do love that people have their best interests, and they really do want to give you all the tools you need to succeed in whatever journey that you decide to take with this. So that is something that I do love about it; like people are willing to give information. And there are a lot of communities where people don't want to give you the tools you need to succeed. So that is a really positive thing about the witch community. They're trying, and they're trying the best to give you whatever you need.
Kim: I think it's interesting that you're getting that angle, because I heard a lot of people say the opposite. So I love that.
Tee: I mean from what I've seen, and listen, I take what I can get! So from what I'm seeing, everyone's just like "Yeah, yeah take all this information!"
Kim: That's so nice, yay us.
Tee: I mean in comparison to other things I've seen, this is the most giving. Maybe once you get more into it, maybe no? But like starting beginner like me, I do see a lot of information that's of value to me.
Kim: Well good. Is there anything you'd feel like you want to see people talk about more, or that isn't discussed enough?
Tee: I think that it would be, and I've seen some people touch on it a little bit, but I think talk of maybe how to dig into your own heritage and find out a way to connect that way spiritually. I don't know if that makes sense. Kind of like digging into your roots to maybe resonate more with those deities, or things that would be in your culture. That's something that I'd like to be, that I'd like to see talked more about.
Kim: Have you been able to look into your own?
Tee: No but I'm ready! Whoever's got the swab. I'm trying to do the ancestry test.
Kim: It is fun.
Tee: Yeah, I'm ready. I want to do it, cuz I'm not sure. I mean I know my parents are Puerto Rican, but there's, you know. There were people that were brought from, from Africa and enslaved and brought to Puerto Rico, so I'm sure there's... who knows? I don't know.
Kim: All kinds of...
Tee: All kinds, yeah. Yeah, I'd like to dig more into that because that's why on my Instagram I say that I identify as Afro-Latina.
Kim: Yeah, that makes sense.
Tee: Because I would like to dig more into that.
Kim: Is there anything else that you wanted to... is there anything you wanted to talk about that I didn't ask?
Tee: Nothing I can think of, really. I mean hopefully in, along this journey, we can look back at this podcast and maybe come back in like a couple months and be like "Wow things are so different."
Kim: "I've done 17 rituals, and had a bunch of holidays and..."
Tee: Yeah exactly! I'm like "Look at all these holidays that I celebrated, and all this new stuff I've discovered about myself and my practice." So that's where I hope to be in a year.
Kim: Are you giving yourself homework?
Tee: Yeah. I wrote...
Kim: Like "For Litha I'm gonna do a thing and make a bread" or whatever. I don't even remember where Litha is. I fail. I'm admitting it I don't care. I think it's bread.
Tee: Okay, I'll bake a bread. If you say so. I'll bake a bread.
Kim: I'm not saying, because I don't remember.
Tee: Oh, okay.
Kim: That'll be my own homework.
Tee: Yeah my homework is the holidays this year, because I keep seeing so many people talking about it and I'm like "I want to be a part of this!" So holidays are going to be my homework for this year, and looking into it some more. So people will be seeing me posting more about the holidays.
Kim: Yay! They're fun.
Tee: Yeah they do look like fun.
Kim: It gives you an excuse to get fancy.
Tee: Yeah. Gives you an excuse to eat bread!
Kim: Yeah! There is at least one holiday that's about bread, and I don't remember if it's this one or not. I would like you to suggest someone to be on the show. Somebody you'd like to hear from.
Tee: Someone I'd like to hear from...I would suggest Joy. I'd like to hear from Joy from the Witching Hour Photography, my dear friend.
Kim: I was hoping you would suggest her.
Tee: Yeah, I'd like to hear from her. She's got some cool stuff going on too.
Kim: Me too, actually. So Miss Joy, ma'am, I'm gonna be hitting up your DMs.
Tee: Get on here!
Kim: So I know I told you there are two surprises.
Tee: Okay I'm ready. One is, I want you to recommend something. It doesn't have to be witchy, doesn't have to be online, it can be a snack, a movie, a song, whatever.
Tee: I recommend... can it be food?
Kim: Yeah.
Tee: Okay. I recommend... it's not gonna be food but I was just asking.
Kim: Oh, well you're talking to Taurus. I'm not gonna say no to a snack at any point.
Tee: I know! I'm like I love food. I'll eat food all day. But... what do I recommend? Okay. I recommend that this summer, people take a chance to put down their phones, go outside if you can, get some fresh air, read a book, and just have some you time. Because things are going back into society. Don't forget to take a pause for yourself. As much as we had the longest pause ever, don't forget to just carve some time out for yourself and gather your thoughts as we we get into the madness of it all, all over again.
Kim: That's so good.
Tee: Thank you.
Kim: I love it. If I wouldn't die if I went outside I would do that.
Tee: I know, that's why I said if you can because right now. The pollen...
Kim: It's like 115 degrees out right now.
Tee: Oh my god that is horrible! That's melting.
Kim: Yeah. I don't like it. Okay, and the second thing. I want you to tell me a story that you enjoy telling.
Tee: I'm trying to think of one that's like appropriate to... Okay I have a good story. Okay, it's kind of a story of my husband, but he's fine with it. Or he should be fine with it by now. But there was a moment where we had taken a break. And every time I say we're taking, or he said we're taking a break, it kind of reminded me of Ross Geller from Friends. And how he had his whole, "We were on a break!" kind of thing. And we have this story of we took a break, and I had the whole thing that girls do where, okay, you want a break? Well, I dyed my hair, I would come to work, we worked together, so I would go to work looking like a snack, and we had this moment where, we worked in a factory and I was on like the top floor of this mezzanine. And all of a sudden I'm picking some boxes and putting them on a conveyor belt and I hear like this noise, and he's on this machine that the platform raises up, and he's on a harness.
And then he's at eye level with me while I'm on the third floor, and I can see him through the boxes and he's just staring at me. And I'm like, "Yes?" he's like, "We need to talk." And I'm like, '...okay." And I'm like, "Okay, we can talk when we get out of work. I'll meet you after work." And then he just cuts. He's like, 'Okay." so he, this whole thing is just about him trying to be cool while he's riding this piece of equipment wearing a harness. And then so he goes back down and the machine is super slow going down. And it's just like... slowly cranking down, and then I see him zip away. And I'm like "That was so stupid." And then after the fact we made up, eight years later we're married and all that stuff. And that's the story of "We had a break", but it's not as dramatic as Ross and Rachel.
Kim: I just have this like weird vision of him swooping up on that thing.
Tee: It was just so ridiculous. It kind of reminded me of like...
Kim: You can't just go upstairs?
Tee: No, I know. It just reminded me of like X-Men and how that guy was in that swivel chair and he swiveled around all dramatically. It was just kind of like that moment. I'm like, okay, that was really silly. You could have walked this thing.
Kim: Thank you again so much for being on the show and for telling the story to me.
Tee: You're welcome. Thank you so much for having me.
Kim: And so, do you want to go over your socials one more time?
