I remember the first time I saw a promotional post for “Your Average Witch Podcast,” although it didn’t go by that name at the first. I was immediately intrigued as I had already been a customer of the host, over at Clever Kim’s Curios, where she sells her own beautifully handcrafted jewelry. I knew great podcast things would come from someone with so much talent and popularity amongst the WBAH masses. In this fantastical world of Crepuscular Conjuration that Kim has manifested, between shops and podcast, is a liminal space you will find magic, loads of laughter, honest dialogues, shared personal witchcraft experiences, custom made spells, unique meditations, drool worthy snack recipes, singing bowl recordings, ethereal treasures, coloring pages, a members only walking club, several affordable subscription services, the Bee Hive Community, annual in person meet ups, and above all else, you will find discussions about food. My life changed two years ago when I joined the members only community; subscribing to the Bee Boxes resulted making lifelong friends. I will forever be grateful for this space and all it has to offer.

In short, Kim is just so damn easy to talk to. I do have the slight bias of having known her for quite some time, but the ease of our first interaction confirmed it for me many moons ago. She was thorough and accommodating in the planning and scheduling of our interview, encouraging through any stage fright, and just brought a campfire storytime level of coziness to our interview that left me feeling light. As I spoke of my experiences and listened to her, I felt very seen and heard and my words were interpreted in an honest way. It was a great pleasure to be one of Kim’s guests and I would gladly do it again.
